The research behind it
Students learned more than twice as much with an AI tutor
In a randomised controlled trial at Harvard University, students learned more than twice as much in less time with an AI tutor than in an active-learning classroom. They also reported feeling more engaged and motivated.
The trial involved 194 undergraduates on a physics course, and it did not test Will·e. Will·e is built on the same principle: an AI designed to teach, not merely to answer.
